Dudley Pratt Catalogue Raisonné

Dudley Pratt (14 June 1897 - 18 November 1975), an American sculptor educated in Boston and Paris, was active in the Seattle area from 1925 to 1952. In addition to sculpting freestanding works, he taught, wrote, served in artists' organizations, and produced architectural sculptures that continue to serve as his legacy in the Puget Sound area. After his first wife's death in 1952, Pratt relocated to Croton Falls, New York, where he lived until 1965. He spent the last ten years of his life in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico, with his second wife, the painter Colleen Halvorsen.

For the past several years, I have been compiling documentation toward a catalogue raisonné of Pratt's sculptures. I am currently focusing on his architectural sculpture, but would welcome leads on any of his work—if you have information to share, please get in touch via the form below.
